The Rockville W10K9D2 V3 K9 Series 10" Dual 2-Ohm Car Subwoofer features a non-pressed paper body and an impressive set of specifications. The gap plate has an inside diameter of 95mm (3.54 inches) and an outside diameter of 190mm (7.5 inches), with a thickness of 25mm (1 inch). The yoke, on the other hand, has an outside diameter of 180mm (7.1 inches), a thickness of 10mm (0.4 inches), and a pole diameter of 75mm (3 inches).

This subwoofer boasts an ultra-stiff non-pressed paper punisher cone and an ultra-stiff polypropylene punisher dustcap, which is the same as the one used in the Punisher series. An inner dustcap has been added to help avoid hot air build-up in the voice coils, resulting in improved power handling.

The subwoofer's air ventilation system has been enhanced, providing even better cooling for the voice coil compared to the previous V2 model. Additionally, a voice coil spacer has been included to improve longevity during test tones or extreme bass-heavy songs.

The 3" 4-layer black aluminum voice coils are wound with OFC wire made in the USA and are stable up to 240 degrees Celsius. The subwoofer also features a double-stacked 185 oz high-quality magnet, ensuring impressive power handling capabilities.

The cast aluminum basket with a black sanded finish makes this subwoofer highly efficient and lightweight. The subwoofer is equipped with two chrome-plated binding post terminals and a thick foam surround that provides incredible sound quality with minimal distortion. The white stitching cone reinforcement ensures long life.

The subwoofer's impedance is Dual 2-Ohm Voice Coils, and it comes with custom rubber boot magnet covers that enhance the woofer's appearance and protect the magnet. The custom Rockville mounting gasket makes it easy to mount the subwoofer air-tight, ensuring a professional-looking installation.

The subwoofer's high BL magnetic motor gap, combined with the highest grade black glue that can handle extremely high temperatures, allows it to handle even more power than its rated capacity. The Nomex spider provides tear resistance, strength, and long-term reliability, surpassing regular cotton and poly cotton spiders.

The subwoofer's cutout diameter is 9.37 inches, and the mounting depth is 6.5 inches. Its frequency response ranges from 37.8 Hz to 1.5 kHz, and its sensitivity is 85dB. The recommended sealed enclosure volume is 0.55 – 0.95 cubic feet, while the vented/ported enclosure volume is 1.2 – 1.8 cubic feet.
